BENEFITS AND USES OF ROSE GERANIUM

Rose Geranium is beneficial for most skin types as it has a balancing effect; as an astringent it helps regulate the skin’s oil production, cleanses and reduces the appearance of pores and as a humectant it retains moisture in the skin. This latter property as well as its anti-inflammatory properties furthermore make it beneficial for soothing conditions such as sunburn, rashes, insect bites or skin irritations. Rose geranium also has antibacterial and antimicrobial properties which aids with cleansing – whether as part of a general skincare routine or to aid the healing of cuts and scrapes.
